Men's Rites of Passage Illinois 2008
An experience to deepen spirituality for the 80 men who attended
Eighty men made the Men's Rites of Passage at Pilgrim Park in Princeton, IL. The deeply moving and experiencial program for men's spirituality was held from August 13-17, 2008 with Fr. Richard Rohr as the Weaver. Richard Rohr is from the Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) in Albuquerque, NM. Stephen Picha, also from the CAC was the Ritual Elder.
The men attending were from all over the U.S., Canada and Germany. It was an opportunity to spend time in nature, share with other men, and discover a deeper connection to God and Holy Spirit. The Rites ended with a procession and communion service on Sunday before men were charged to go and mentor others and serve the world.
